During the Yates County History Center's annual Walk Through History Cemetery Tour, watch and listen as historical figures from Yates County’s past share their life stories and talk about some of the moments that shaped our history and our present. From early pioneers to turn-of-the century residents, these people have much to tell about their experiences in life. PYTCo Seeks One-Act Plays for Showcase
The Penn Yan Theatre Company (PYTCo) is seeking submissions from local writers for original, one-act plays for its Playwright Showcase. Plays must be no longer than 30 minutes in length. Winning plays will be brought to life as staged readings on Oct. 19 at 6:00 pm at the Elks Club in Penn Yan. Submissions are due by Sept. 1, with winners being announced on Sept. 15.
