Veraisons Restaurant Named Among the Best Winery Restaurants in the World by Wine Enthusiast
August and September 2026 feature highlights seasonal Finger Lakes dining and Seneca Lake views
DUNDEE, N.Y. — Veraisons Restaurant at Glenora Wine Cellars has been featured in Wine Enthusiast’s “The Best Winery Restaurants in the World.” Originally published in the magazine’s August/September 2026 issue, the article features 57 winery restaurants around the globe as dining destinations worth planning a trip around. Veraisons is listed in Dundee, New York, in the heart of the Finger Lakes.
In its profile, Wine Enthusiast writes: “Veraisons works closely with local farmers and changes its menus seasonally to highlight regional ingredients.” The feature also notes the restaurant’s cathedral ceilings, stone fireplace, and terrace with vineyard and lake views.
That sense of place has guided Veraisons for more than two decades. The restaurant draws on farms in the Finger Lakes and across New York State, with menus that follow the seasons and include vegan and gluten-free choices. Guests can dine in the light-filled dining room or on the terrace overlooking Glenora’s vineyards and Seneca Lake.
Veraisons opened in June 2000 as part of Glenora’s expansion that also brought The Inn at Glenora Wine Cellars to the property. Glenora, established in 1977 as the first winery on Seneca Lake, had introduced its earlier Wine Garden Café in 1987. The Wine Enthusiast feature is a welcome recognition of the regional producers, culinary team, and hospitality that continue to shape dining at Veraisons.
