YCHC Ready to Tee Up For History at Lakeside

The Yates County History Center will host its inaugural golf tournament fundraiser on Monday, September 23 at Lakeside Country Club, located at 145 State Route 54/East Lake Road in Penn Yan. The Tee Up For History Golf Tournament begins with registration at 9 a.m. and a shotgun start at 10 a.m.

 

YCHC is seeking players take part in the tournament and enjoy the day by entering a team to play at the beautiful Lakeside Country Club. A foursome costs $500 and includes food, 18 holes of golf with cart, on-course contests, and player gifts. The deadline to enter a foursome is Monday, September 16. The Yates County History Center has a mission to collect, preserve, and interpret the history of Yates County and operates the L. Caroline Underwood Museum, the Oliver House, and the Scherer Carriage House, which contains the permanent exhibit on the Public Universal Friend. The History Center is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a suggested donation of $5 for admission.
