Yates County Chamber of Commerce Celebrates Opening of Folk Bottle in Penn Yan

Penn Yan, NY - Yates County Chamber of Commerce helped celebrate the recent opening of Folk Bottle, an exciting addition to Penn Yan's vibrant business landscape. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to mark the occasion on Wednesday, March 27th.

Folk Bottle brings a unique blend of artisanal wines and spirits from New York State and around the world and modern sensibility to the heart of Penn Yan. The new establishment, co-owned by Lucy Stork and Tony Glanzman, promises to be a haven for connoisseurs of craft beverages, or for those simply looking to pick up a unique bottle for any occasion.

The location was previously a liquor store owned by a local family for many years. The Folk Bottle team breathed new life into the space and put in countless hours to make it their own. They offer an exceptional and curated selection of wines and spirits in a warm and hospitable setting, where you can explore a diverse array of libations, ask questions, and taste what they have open that day.

“Folk Bottle was born from the idea of story telling, and is centered around sharing the stories of winemakers and vintners in a way that feels right to them,” said Lucy. “Tony and I both feel the Finger Lakes is ready for a store like our’s that explores both the incredible wines made here and those from around the world, and believe there is no better place than Penn Yan to showcase the wines and spirits that we love. We’ve already felt so much love and support from our community during the renovation process and the few weeks we’ve been open, and can’t wait for all that is to come this summer and beyond,” she added.

Folk Bottle is located at 2491 State Route 54A in Penn Yan, and is open daily. Their current hours are Monday-Saturday, 11:00am-7:00pm and Sundays from 12:00-5:00pm. Follow them on social media to stay updated.
