Yates County Chamber of Commerce Announces Seminar on Effective Leadership Communications
Penn Yan, NY – February 3, 2025 – The Yates County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce an upcoming professional development seminar with guest speaker Corey Christman, designed to elevate communication strategies in the workplace: "Effective Leadership Communications." This seminar will be held on April 22, 2025, at Lyons National Bank and is open to all professionals looking to enhance their leadership and communication skills in both individual and team settings (content is applicable to any level of employee).
Effective communication is the backbone of any successful organization. This interactive seminar will guide participants through the principles of self-awareness and communication styles, while providing tools and strategies for improving employee engagement, performance, and overall organizational success. Key topics will include:
- Self-Awareness 101: How well do we truly communicate? Learn how to identify your communication style and become more attuned to how others perceive your message.
- Understanding Communication and Employee Performance: Explore how communication directly impacts employee behavior and productivity, including how initial expectations, feedback, and ongoing engagement shape outcomes.
