ServU Credit Union opens new branch in Penn Yan, New York
 
January 7, 2025 – Penn Yan, NY ServU Credit Union cut the ribbon on a brand new, full-service branch in Penn Yan on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. The Yates County Chamber assisted with the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
 
This beautiful, new 5,000-square-foot building is located at 102 Delano Place, across from the Keuka Lake Outlet and directly behind the Casa Mezcal Restaurant, next to Carey’s Lumber. ServU Credit Union members can take advantage of several exciting features including two drive-thru lanes, a drive-up ATM, a night drop, and a self-service coin machine.
 
As part of the grand opening celebration and to show ServU Credit Union’s commitment to the Penn Yan community, Keith Orfanides, ServU Credit Union CEO, announced several donations to local organizations.

  • Milly’s Pantry
  • Penn Yan Village Fire Department
  • Penn Yan Police Benevolent Association
  • Penn Yan Ambulance Corporation
  • Penn Yan School District support organization and activities
 
Orfanides, shared his excitement about the new branch opening in Penn Yan, emphasizing the credit union’s commitment to the local community. “We could not be more excited to be bringing the credit union difference to the local Penn Yan community. This new Penn Yan location strengthens our dedication to the people of Yates County. We look forward to the new opportunities we will have to serve and make a difference in our member’s lives.”

The new branch will operate with the following schedule:
LOBBY: Mon. - Fri. 9AM - 5PM
DRIVE-THRU: Mon. - Wed. 9AM - 5PM / Thurs. & Fri. 8:30AM -5PM
 
ServU Credit Union currently employs 128 staff in 8 offices located in Penn Yan, Painted Post, Corning, Bath, Hornell, Alfred, and Dundee serving more than 40,000 members. The credit union has a community charter covering 17 counties throughout New York and Pennsylvania. Membership is open to anyone living, working, worshiping, or attending school in the following counties:  
 
New York Counties: Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chemung, Genesee, Livingston, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, Wyoming or Yates
 
Pennsylvania Counties: Bradford, McKean, Potter, or Tioga
