Finger Lakes Boating Museum Launches Unique Fundraiser “Boat Drinks”
 
Break your cabin fever, enjoy local food and drink, and party among the largest collection of Finger Lakes-built boats in the world at this summer-vibes getaway
Hammondsport, NY – Finger Lakes Boating Museum invites everyone who has a bit of cabin fever and wants to go where it’s warm to join their Boat Drinks party on March 1, 2025, from 3p.m. to 7 p.m. The event, named after the popular warm-weather-wishing Jimmy Buffett song, is a casual fundraising event inspired by warm days on the dock, cool beverages on the water, and great local food and drink – all to the soundtrack of boat and beach favorites.
The highlight of Boat Drinks is special musical guest Jimmy & The Parrots, one of the most requested Jimmy Buffett cover bands in the country. For more than 20 years, Jimmy & the Parrots have been playing to crowds across the United States and as far a south as St. Kitts in the Caribbean and as far north as Ontario, Canada. Jimmy & The Parrots perform Buffett favorites as well as other popular beach and boat standards by the Zac Brown Band, Jerry Jeff Walker, the Beach Boys, Harry Belafonte, Bob Marley, and many others.
