Description
Not just a cooking class! We will also discuss the basics of a plant-based diet for a healthy mind, body, spirit, and planet. Bring your appetite, and any questions you might have for Mary Ellen. Participants will learn how to prepare the individual elements as well as assemble the bowls and repurpose the leftovers into another meal.
Mary Ellen will be teaching the basic components of a burrito bowl which will include:
-Seasoned black beans.
-Seasoned crumbled Tofu.
-Seasoned Tempe crumble.
-Seared or grilled corn.
-Brown rice.
-Cashew cream.
-Guacamole.
-Baked no oil Tortilla chips.
-Lettuce, sweet peppers, tomatoes, salsa, etc.
