The Joy of French Cinema
Each month, a film by one of the giants of French cinema will be made available for viewing, then we will gather at the end of the month to discuss it. Though some French may be spoken in the meetings, they are open to people of all skill levels, and we will make sure that everyone can follow the discussion. This month’s selection Les enfants du paradis (Children of Paradise), the 1945 romance by Marcel Carne set in the theatrical demimonde of 19th century Paris.
