Participants may request a specific lamppost, though the Chamber cannot guarantee the lamppost you have requested will be available. Scarecrows will be displayed along Main Street, Elm Street or at your business/home if you let us know where!

All materials used need to be environmentally friendly. Stuffing must be secured inside of body of the scarecrow to avoid any unnecessary litter throughout the streets.  Scarecrows must be built on sturdy frames durable enough to withstand inclement weather. All scarecrows must be “G” rated. The Chamber reserves the right to censor and remove inappropriate displays.  The display area will occupy a 6’ X 3’ space.  Your scarecrow must face the street.

The Village DPW has the right to remove vandalized or unrepairable scarecrow displays upon notification to Chamber. If a display is repairable, the Chamber will contact you immediately.  Village Government or the Chamber of Commerce may not be held responsible for damaged or vandalized displays.  Businesses are encouraged to help keep an eye on these displays.

Scarecrow signage on the scarecrows with the theme and individual/business/club/organization/Family name, to be provided by the Chamber.
