Explore the history of Finger Lakes wine region, wine making at Ravines and the pleasure of food and wine pairings.

Guests gather in our renovated, turn-of-the-century barn to enjoy a savory amuse-bouche with a sample of Ravines’ 2011 methode champenpise sparkling wine, aged en tirage for seven years before being hand-riddled and finished with disgorgement and dosage. You are then led by one of our warm and knowledgeable hosts to the wine cellar to learn about the centuries-old methods of champagne winemaking that we use to make our sparkling wines. 

While in the cellar, enjoy a sample of one of our acclaimed red wines from wooden European casks as our wine steward guides you through the process of winemaking and barrel aging. Guests then return to the barn for a food and wine pairing at our antique farm table where they enjoy two flights of our best wines enjoyed with a Grazing Slate of savory, seasonal bites.
