Plant a Flower for Mom - Free Event with Elevate Youth

ELEVATE Youth collaborates with ReFIND with a free event for children to craft a handmade Mother’s Day gift. Children will marble a terracotta pot, fill with potting soil and plant a flower seed to grow. To complete the project, children create a paper flower with a special note to mom to place in the soil until the flower grows. This is a walk-in arts and craft project that will take approximately 30 mins from start to finish. ELEVATE Youth is a partner of the Yates Community Center, providing experiences through a variety of programming for children, youth and families, giving them the opportunity to grow in the areas of self-confidence, leadership, responsibility and respect.
