Oh…You Live in Africa: My Journey from the Finger Lakes to Foreign Lands

Rob Martin, a Penn Yan summer resident and native of Seneca Falls, will present his experiences as a global citizen. Rob lives in south-central Africa in Lusaka, Zambia where he and his wife teach at the American International School of Lusaka. He is a long-term expatriate who has lived in Latin America, Africa, and Asia, and he will share some stories and experiences from over 20 years of life overseas as an international educator. Passionate about history, travel, trekking, and learning about other cultures, Rob will smash stereotypes as he shares some myths and misconceptions about Africa.
