Description
Jewel Hara, popular Geneva area pianist and organist will play an array of well known holiday favorites, as well as traditional carols, some of which are not heard so often today. Attendees will have the opportunity to sing along and/or listen to this special holiday music treat! Refreshments will be served.
About our Guest Musician:
Jewel Hara is a long time pianist and organist from Geneva. She retired after serving 60 years as organist and choir director for St. Michael Orthodox Church in Geneva, and continues to serve several other area churches. As pianist, Jewel plays at Geneva on the Lake, and at other civic and social functions. She is a member of a weekly quartet. Prior to her retirement she worked for the Finger Lakes Times and Martin Music Store. Jewel received an award several years ago for her many contributions to the Geneva community.
