Gallery Exhibit and Opening: Pastel Society of Western New York

The Arts Center of Yates County is pleased to welcome The Pastel Society of Western New York as featured artists in our first formal exhibit of the year. Rather than featuring work by a few of the Society’s members, the Pastel Society’s “featured artist” will be a Members Juried Exhibition. Pieces will be accepted and judged by Aline Ordman - a Master Pastelist with the Pastel Society of America, a Signature Member of the American Impressionist Society, a Signature member of the Oil Painters of America and a Master Circle Pastelist with the International Association of Pastel Societies. Aline is a Cornell graduate now living in Vermont. The exhibit will also include work by many of the Arts Center’s regular exhibiting artists. A formal exhibit opening is scheduled for Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 3-5 pm at the Art Center. (Covid protocols will be observed for that event).
