Daffodil Sale

For decades, the American Cancer Society (ACS) sponsored an event called Daffodil Days. This fundraising event brought dozens of gorgeous spring daffodils to the community and returned needed funding to the ACS. Back in 2012, the ACS announced the elimination of the program.

So, in 2013, the Chamber Team worked to resurrect the event and to designate a “local” cause to benefit from the flower sales. This tradition continues! This year Yates Community Center and the Chamber have joined forces in flower sales and will benefit from the proceeds.

Living by their mission statement, the Yates Community Center is to provide health, wellness, educational, and recreational opportunities to all of Yates County residents and nearby communities. The shared proceeds of the fundraiser will help them as they continue their capital campaign for the proposed expansion.

The Chamber will take orders for 4” potted plants with a cost of $10 and 6” potted plants with a cost of $15.  The order deadline is March 30th and flowers will be available for pick up on April 7-8, 2022 at the Yates County Chamber of Commerce
