Description
This a fun, unique, multi-tiered, creative summer workshop involving the visual arts, performing arts and creative writing. Over the course of six weeks, students will collaboratively author an original puppet play, learn the art of paper mache and puppetry, design the puppet characters for their play, and finally, perform their original puppet show for an audience of friends and family. Twelve classes in all. Tiger Kandel is a longtime puppet artist, art educator, and craft book author as well as co-founder of Tigercandy Arts, Inc. Space is limited. $150/student $100/student
