Building Community, Building Understanding: Gender and Society

Continuing work begun with our Grappling with Racism series, you are invited to participate in a multi-part opportunity to learn about and thoughtfully engage around gender identity and expression, and the points at which they intersect with other issues. Participants will receive media to explore between sessions, which will involve discussion and reflection. Register by emailing info@pypl.org; space is limited, so don’t delay. Facilitated by Penn Yan Public Library’s Alex Andrasik and by Heather Cook, a student of power dynamics and systems of liberation. This series will take place on 10/6, 10/20, 11/3, 11/17, 12/1 and 12/15.
