Description
This year’s 2 p.m. walk will feature the Public Universal Friend, her family members, supporters and naysayers for a themed walk. Meet David Wagner, Arnold James Brown Potter, Patience Wilkinson Potter, Elizabeth Smith and Jemima Wilkinson as she visits for a little while before returning to her anonymous grave. Admission is $8 each or $15 for a family. Proceeds benefit both Penn Yan Public Library and the Yates County History Center. Please park at PY Municipal lot across the street from Lakeview Cemetery’s Elm Street entrance. Friends of the PY Public Library are supplying golf carts to assist participants. Rain Date is August 24.
