Dear Friends,

Even though it seems hard to believe, in about six months, we will bid farewell to the Penn Yan

Academy Class of 2023, as they head to their next adventures in life, towards college and/or career

paths. This is a time period of great hope, excitement, fun, festivities, and memories to last a lifetime.

About 23 years ago, a committee called Operation Graduation was created. The purpose of the

committee was to plan an all-night, safe, substance-free party on the evening of graduation for ALL

Penn Yan Academy Graduates. Much time, effort, and energy went into planning food, fun, and

activities for the graduates to create an unforgettable evening filled with friends and enjoyable

festivities.
 

The PYA Class of 2023 Operation Graduation Committee work is well under way! To ensure we are able

to provide this year’s graduating class of amazing young men and women a spectacular send-off, we

need your help, please. The success of Operation Graduation is dependent on the investment and time

of parents in planning, organizing, fund-raising, and chaperoning. Additionally, the success of the event

depends largely on funding and donations from businesses and individuals in the community. Penn

Yan Academy’s Class of 2023 Operation Graduation would thoroughly appreciate you considering a

monetary donation in any amount which will be put towards food, entertainment, raffles, and prizes on

the evening of PYA’s 2023 Commencement in June.
 

Donations can be sent by check or through Venmo. To ensure we are able to plan properly for the

event, donations would be greatly appreciated by March 31st.

Gift cards, gift certificates, and prizes are also very generous and would be greatly welcomed by

the committee to be put towards the evening’s events. ALL donations are thoroughly appreciated

and will be acknowledged the evening of the event.
 

As with any large undertaking such as this, we continue to be grateful that our local businesses and

organizations have a long, beloved history of graciously supporting our students in their many

endeavors. Nobody does it better than Penn Yan!❤️ We thank you in advance for your continued
