Ventosa Vineyards has been voted a top destination winery in the Finger Lakes. We offer dry, old world-style wines, entirely estate grown fruit, Mediterranean cuisine, 5-star weddings & events, gorgeous sunsets and views of the Eastern shore of Seneca Lake.

Our story
Founded in 2005 by Lenny and Meg Cecere, Ventosa reflects the Italian roots and passion for excellence. Inspired by family heritage and annual trips to Italy, the winery blends Tuscan charm with finger lakes beauty. With 23 acres of premium grapes, including award-winning varietals, Ventosa crafts wines with quality over quantity. Every bottle reflects a commitment to precision—from hand-pruning vines to long barrel aging.

From the bold Saggio red blend to the crisp Tocai Friulano, our wines have won numerous national and international awards. Notably, our 2011 Lemberger earned the prestigious NY governor’s cup—the only red wine to do so.
