About Us

Apple Barrel Orchards is a fourth-generation family-owned working fruit farm situated on 86 acres in the heart of the Finger Lakes. A cidery and u-pick farm located in Penn Yan.
For over 80 years, their family has harvested its own fruit to offer fresh produce. In addition to apple picking, they are now producing their our own cider available at the tasting room inside the original 1896 farm barn.
Open seasonally from spring through fall with select u-pick dates. 3 varieties of sweet cherries (~1st week of July), 10 varieties of apples and concord grapes available for u-pick (~1st week of September)!
A small farm market with cider fresh pressed here on the farm, local cheeses, honey, maple syrup, jams, jellies, pancake mix and more! Additional apples and grapes are available pre-picked in our farm store when in season.
