DESCRIPTION:World War I\, Armistice and the Home Front will be the topic of the Yates County History Center's annual meeting presentation by Preston Pierce on Thursday night\, November 15th at the Wagner Restaurant. \n\nPierce is the Ontario County Historian and also a lecturer at Finger Lakes Community College. The evening will begin with a social hour at 6pm followed by dinner\, business meeting and Pierce's lecture starting at 7pm. The highlight of the business meeting will be the presentation of the Arnold Potter Award. \n\nMake your reservations by calling 536-7318. Tickets are $30 each or $50 per couple which includes appetizers\, dinner\, coffee\, and dessert. Dinner choices are steak\, scallops\, or chicken parmesan. Beverages are available to purchase separately. \n\nThere will also be a silent auction to benefit Yates County History Center.
