SUMMARY:Hammered Ring Workshop with The Adorned Studios
DESCRIPTION:A great class for beginners\, this quick project offers students the opportunity to familiarizes themselves with simple hand tools and techniques for metal working. We'll discuss ring sizing\, how to manipulate metal\, and simple design elements. When purchasing your ticket\, you will select the type of ring you will be making. Brass is $33. Sterling silver is $45. Your ticket also includes one free glass of Point of the Bluff Vineyards wines. Additonal glasses and bottles of wine will be available for purchase throughout and after the event.\n\nThis class will run from 1:30pm -3:00pm and will be led by instructor\, Brittany Rea. Britany runs and operates The Adorned Studios with partner\, Marisa Krol. The Adorned Studios is a home for self expression and creative exploration in Rochester\, NY. They believe the more time we each spend getting in touch with our unique creative voice and intuition the better the world will be. Creative projects themselves are meditations\, exercises and vehicles for healing\, personal discovery and growth. Jewelry metalwork is no different. The best part? Students are able to share the journey they have been on with a finished piece of wearable art!\n\nYour safety and health is our biggest priority. Masks will be required anytime you are not seated at your station\, which will be placed 6 feet away from other individuals and groups.
