DESCRIPTION:The Yates County Chamber of Commerce Presents\, First Fridays Live in Penn Yan\, a local small business shopping experience. The first Friday of each month from May to October\, participating businesses on Main Street will be open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Each Business will be hosting musicians\, entertainment\, wineries\, and even local art. This fun and relaxed event is meant to encourage Penn Yan residents to stop into businesses on Main Street and shop locally.\n\nTo kick off the year\, on May 3rd and 4th each shopper will be given a stamp card to keep track of where they visited. After every business is stamped\, shoppers will turn in their card to enter to win Shop Local Prizes. The Grand Prize winner will receive a Shop Local Gift Basket filled with Goodies and Gift Certificates. Four individuals will win a Chamber of Commerce $25 gift card to use at participating businesses.
